Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance, acrobatics, music, and fighting techniques.

It was developed by African slaves in Brazil during the 16th century as a way to practice self-defense while disguising it as a form of dance to avoid detection by their oppressors.

Over time, it evolved into a rich cultural tradition that is both a physical discipline and a social and cultural expression.

All levels welcome. Come and learn the fundamentals of this craft.

This session will feature live music.

In this fascinating workshop Arun will guide you through the Chakra Charya, a flowing sequence of asana he has developed over 25 years of teaching.

Each of the seven asanas correspond with one of seven chakras and is coupled with its own unique hand mudra and mantra designed to energetically align and balance the body-mind connection, and promote a deep meditative state.

A gentle, therapeutic practice designed to bring deep relaxation and healing to the body and mind. This practice involves holding poses for extended periods, typically with the support of props such as bolsters, blankets, and blocks, to allow the body to fully relax without exertion. The focus is on passive stretching, gentle movement, and mindful breathing, creating an environment where the nervous system can shift into a state of rest and rejuvenation.

To close our restful practice, enjoy a sound bath to bring the nervous system right down.

Arun will guide you through two asana sequences inspired by Classical Indian Dance.

Each will be “learned by heart” and devoted with love to the divine feminine-masculine union.

Devotion to, and spiritual love for, any endeavour is known as Bhakti Yoga, an ancient tradition that devotes with a loving heart our yoga practice to the divine feminine represented by Parvati (Shakti), balanced in union with the divine masculine represented by Shiva.

A relaxing, mysterious evening of Yoga Nidra, cacao and Yin on the night of the full moon.

Yoga Nidra is a powerful, deliciously restful style of yoga practised in Savasana, with no movement at all. Often called yogic sleep, the practice accesses deep layers of the subconscious, providing a profoundly meditative space to rest and restore.

Experience the powerful harmony of ceremonial cacao and breathwork to awaken the heart and soul. Cacao increases blood flow and love chemicals in the body, providing an energizing effect without caffeine's jitters.

In this session, we’ll drink cacao in meditation, explore a theme of emotional release, set a powerful intention, and engage in deep breathwork techniques (conscious connected and holotropic).

The ceremony will conclude with a relaxing sound bath led by Victoria Chamron.
