The purpose of meditation is to cultivate positive mental states and overcome negative habits.

Create yourself happy- Buddha’s timeless wisdom for modern day life.

Meditation is a mind that is single-pointedly focused on a virtuous object, and whose function is to make the mind peaceful and calm. Whenever we meditate, we are performing a mental action that will cause us to experience inner peace in the future.

Flow Dance Meditation w. Beth O’Toole

Straight out of Ibiza to Stockport, Flow Dance Meditation is a guided movement meditation journey to music (through headphones), to help you drop out of your head and into your body. No choreography, no pressure – just space to move the way you need to.

We will dance for 45 minutes before gathering in circle for some reflection and a herbal tea

You don’t need to be a dancer or a meditator. Just bring your busy self and I'll take care of the rest.

This mixed movement workshop will take people from all abilities, on a journey through emotional detachment with the use of floor work and mindfulness movements. Let’s work together to find an entrance into meditation by using focused, simple & fun movement exercises. 

Joshua is a contemporary dance artist and mixed movement specialist, now teaching floor work release technique. Joshua trained at NSCD and graduated with first class honours degree at 21 and has gone on to have a career in mixed movement in the film and campaign industry.
